What happens with my data in REKAP?


As a Swiss based company we aim to process the data in accordance with the principles of Swiss banking secrecy.


Your data security is our priority. 

AI services are provided through the Microsoft Azure OpenAI services.  Please note that your prompts, and AI responses & insights: 
- are NOT available to other customers
-are NOT available to OpenAI
-are NOT used to improve OpenAI models.
-are NOT used to improve any Microsoft or 3rd party products or services
-are NOT used for automatically improving Azure OpenAI models for your use in your resource

The Azure OpenAI Service is fully controlled by Microsoft; Microsoft hosts the OpenAI models in Microsoft’s Azure environment and the Service does NOT interact with any services operated by OpenAI (e.g. ChatGPT, or the OpenAI API).

Our Infrastructure and storage is operated on Google Cloud Technologies. Our storage is set up on the cloud, is located in Europe, and all data is encrypted

What is a Credit?

A "credit" is a unit used to measure your AI usage within our platform. Each chat exchange consumes 1 credit, while utilizing a module counts as 5 credits. This system allows you to easily manage your usage, giving you a clear understanding of how your credits are spent, whether you’re interacting with the AI in conversations or leveraging our advanced tools

Why the credit system?

Paying for AI usage is necessary because running sophisticated AI models requires substantial resources. Each interaction with the AI involves processing a significant amount of data, which demands powerful computing hardware and substantial energy. Additionally, the AI must be hosted on secure servers that ensure your data is handled safely and efficiently.

We, as the service provider, pay to access these capabilities through platforms like OpenAI, which requires covering the costs for every request processed by the AI.These costs include computational power, server maintenance, and the infrastructure needed to keep the system running at high speed and accuracy. By covering these expenses, we ensure that our users get a seamless and reliable experience, which is
why credit-based AI usage becomes an essential part of delivering value through our software.

What is the maximum AI ready storage available ?

AI-ready storage and regular data storage serve different purposes. AI-ready storage means that your data is prepared for immediate use by the AI with just one click, enabling quick processing and response. Converting data into this AI-ready state involves additional steps and costs, ensuring it's organized and optimized for AI interaction.

Each plan includes a maximum storage capacity, which is measured in terms of hours of recordings. This approach makes it easier to understand how much content can be stored. Once you reach the storage limit for your plan, you can either upgrade to a higher plan, purchase additional storage (coming soon), or delete some existing files to free up space.

What happens to the recording of my voice?

Once your voice is recorded, it is sent to an advanced AI system that converts the audio into a transcript. After this process, the voice recording is immediately deleted. From there, the AI continues working with the transcript only, passing it through additional AI systems to generate the required outputs. Your voice is not stored or used beyond the transcription process.
